Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! In 2012, I was inspired by a blogger who took a picture of her daughter everyday. The pictures were everyday moments, the things you don't usually photograph: eating breakfast, brushing her teeth, playing with her dollhouse, etc… I checked the blog everyday and was in love with all of these moments this mom was capturing. I thought to myself, "wouldn't that be nice." Well, an entire year went by of telling myself that I need to take more picture of my own kids and I finally decided to do something about it.
In an attempt at challenging myself, sharpening my photography skills and documenting a year in our life, I have decided to start my own picture-a-day blog. I got permission from my kids and they are very excited for this year long project. I can't promise you that I will actually get them posted every day, but I do vow to take at least one picture every day. I am also hoping to catch my kids real life and not their cheesy picture smiles. This will be an adjustment on their part, but they are already getting used to me lingering around with my camera.
